3 Reasons Why your blog might not be getting Traffic

Most bloggers complain that there blogs are not able to get enough traffic that they thought in a desired period of time.  However, blogging is really great to workout with and it’s just really fun & interesting to do. But still, it feels lonely when there is no one to see the great work of ours. In fact, most bloggers try hard but still they are unable to bring the amount of traffic they desire. Getting more traffic is not that easy. However, I will be sharing 3 Possible reasons Why your blog might not be getting Traffic.

3 Reasons Why your blog might not be getting Traffic

Your content is boring

You are seeing many blogs that get thousands of visits per day and you wonder how they manage to do so? Actually the logic  behind this is useful and awesome content. People visit these blogs because they are ready to read the useful and interesting content that blog provide. However, it may sound harsh that your blog is not getting traffic because you are posting boring and useless content but it’s true. Readers want to read your content because they want to see something interesting, they want to get educated, they want to learn something new, they are ready to read something exclusive. So,  Post content that are interesting and readers find it worth to read them.

You are worst at welcoming New Visitors

Yes, I am talking about welcoming your visitors. It’ not like you should welcome them with a message “Welcome to our site” or something like that. What my point is you are not getting traffic to your site because your visitors are welcomed in a worst way like as soon as they open your site, they are seen up with pop-ups saying like us on Facebook, A blog full of ads, etc. Most probably a new visitor will close your site then and there. Rather then that, visitors should be welcomed with Good kind of content as discussed in the point above. Most people add pop-ups to their blogs which I personally really hate to see in any blog. So, blogs that welcome their visitors with Good variety of Content rather then pop-ups and ads are capable of making their visitors feel welcomed and also they will stay tuned with your blog for a long time.

Your blog is unstable

By unstable, I mean that your blog is very poor in the terms of looks and difficult to navigate. If you want to improve the stability of your blog, then you need to workout on your blog’s looks. Personally saying, you can get a premium theme or hire a designer or even you can get a free but a good looking theme. First time visitors will hate your blog if it contains poor stability. However, changing your blog design every weak is not a good blogging practice. But get a good web host with which you can improve blog’s loading time.

So, that’s all!

I share 3 possible reasons why your blog might not be getting traffic.

  8. Hi Kuldeep,

I must say you touched some very salient points here. I’m truly concerned with point #3. I’ve been thinking of a redesign though it is not long I did the recent one. But sometimes I think the present one is a little too clumsy though many of the readers really don’t complain because of the great content. Am I asking too much if you will take a look and let me know if there are any areas I can re-do? I will appreciate.

    Thanks for this article.

Firstly, thanks for appreciating this post. Now, if you are talking about this post, then I must say that point #3 plays a major role. I reviewed your blog’s looks and it’s stability and found everything fit and fine ( in terms of looks and stability)! So, overall, you need not change anything in your template as your blog’s look is doing great for now. And the content and looks both on your site are good enough to represent your blog.
Hope you consider my advise and find it helpful.
      Thanks for commenting.

      • Thanks Kuldeep for that. I think I will take your word for it. In fact, just this afternoon I experimented with a new theme but after comparing the two I thought of leaving the present one.

My problem is that I’m too much of a perfectionist! 🙂

        Once again thanks.

  9. Nice Post. What depends much is a content. Because people always look for that.

You are right that if we want to drive massive traffic then we should write interesting and quality content. Most of the newbie bloggers leave the blogging just because the traffic. And they want thousands of visitors in the starting and we know that how hard it is.
