5 Premium WordPress Plugins That Are Worth Every Penny

Top 5 Premium WordPress Plugins

WordPress is one of the most popular blogging platforms on the planet and one of the reasons we find it so likable is because of the vast amount of themes and plugins we can install to suit our needs. There are thousands of free plugins available from the WordPress repository for free but in this post, I’d like to share my experience with some premium plugins that have made a huge difference in my blog.

1. CommentLuv Premium

Hands down, this is my all-time favorite plugin. It’s so flexible and can be customized with so many different options, I’m willing to bet it will be hard to find two blogs with the exact same settings! CommentLuv all started with the concept of rewarding commenters with a link back to their blogs but it has evolved into a blog promotion machine that keeps going just like the Energizer Bunny! This plugin has way too many features for me to list them all in this post, so I’ll just highlight one of my favorites. It’s referred to as “social enticements” which gets people sharing your posts on Twitter, Facebook and Google+ in droves.

2. SEOPressor

I rely on the SEOPressor plugin every day. The functions it performs are very simplistic, and it really helps me manage the quality of the posts submitted by the guest authors on my blog Basic Blog Tips. For example, SEOPressor reminds you to include keywords in your H1, H2, H3 and Alt-image tags. It tracks your keyword density and checks for internal links. Believe it not, you would be surprised how many guest bloggers don’t know that they are supposed to create internal links back to other posts on my blog. SEOPressor is almost like my little virtual assistant and since I’m an affiliate through ClickBank, it has paid for itself many times over. Btw – if you’re not sure what I mean by being an affiliate, Amit has done a great job of introducing you to affiliate marketing in this post.

3. BackUp Buddy

The name itself should be enough for you to know what this plugin can do. But really there is so much more to it then just backing up a few files! Backup Buddy creates a full and complete backup of all the databases and files on your blog (free backup plugins do NOT do this). You can send the files to a remote location for storage such as Amazon S3, Rackspace Cloudfiles, Email, and FTP. These can be used to restore your blog if necessary or to move your blog to a new host as well. Keep in mind that you should always back up your blog before you update to a new version of WordPress or any of the premium plugins I’ll mention here in this post or others that you have installed.

4. Pretty Link Pro

Have you heard about this one yet? Once again, I need to mention affiliate marketing, after all, how else do you think I can afford to pay for premium plugins and themes?  🙂 Pretty Link Pro is used to create unique links for your affiliate products because to be quite honest with you, sometimes the links we get from our affiliate programs can be very “ugly” and they are almost impossible to remember. PLP makes the links “pretty” and tracks the hits too, so don’t be afraid to create pretty links for blog posts or social networks that you want to have stats on also.

5. Optin Skin

Last but not least it’s time for me to introduce you to the new kid on the block. Optin Skin is the brain child of none other than Glen Allsop from Viper Chill. If you don’t know about Glen, trust me this guy is a real whiz kid and this time he has created his own product and it is really something for him to be proud of. Optin Skin will help you get people to sign up for your email list, or buy your products by giving you 18 customizable templates to choose from to create your unique optin form. It integrates easily with Aweber, MailChimp, FeedBurner and more. And one of the best things I love about Optin Skin Plugin is that it doesn’t pop-up!

That’s my top five “can’t-live-without” list of premium WordPress plugins, let me know what you think of them. Are you using these plugins too, or did I miss some of your favorites?

  1. Chitra@SocialVani says

A great list Illeane. I am using the first, second and fourth plugin for my client blogs. The SEOPressor is wonderful 🙂 Have to try out the remaining two.

    Thanks Illeane.

    • Hi Chitra, let me know what you think after you give them a try. Thanks for your comment.

      • Hi Ileane
nice article i recently purchase seopressor plugin and i am very happy with them its very helpful to website. now i think use prettylink pro for my website. thanks for sharing.

  2. Build EDU Backlinks says

I would say these are the plugin which you will start using once then you cannot run your blog without them. Commentluv is a awesome plugin which helps you to attract more traffic to your blog. and I have no words for SEOPressor which is a life saving plugin for any blog..

Ileane I really appropriate your research on these Plugins and writing about them..

    • I think I would cry a million tears if I didn’t have CommentLuv Premium. 🙂 Thank goodness I don’t have to go there. LOL!

  3. Sanjit Chohan says

SEOPressor Rocks m/ I am using it on my upcoming growing blog and its seriously like a Virtaul Assistant who keeps poking when i miss anything related to SEO of the Post. 🙂

will try the others too 🙂

Thanks Ileane, I am your fan

  4. Romy Singh says

    Hello Ileane,

Quite interesting list of plugins, which make our blogging life too much easier.

I’m already using SEO Pressor plugin and soon going to give a try to some other plugins like commentluv premium and pretty links.

Once again a big thanks for bring some sensible and useful plugins under one roof.

    • Hi Romy,
SEOPressor really has a lot more benefits than people realize. Some people think they can just memorize the steps and live without the plugin, maybe that’s true to a point. But I bet they can’t calculate that keyword density without SEOPressor or some similar plugin. Why settle for less when you can have the best!
      Thanks Romy.

  5. Blogging Tips says

No doubt these are the best plugins which not only make your blog more powerful but also they are not very heavy plugins, which is the best thing from optimization point of View.

    • Yes, I agree. Even the OptinSkin plugin is very light. The only caution is with Pretty Link Pro. You really don’t need to have detailed stats, just use the general ones.

  6. Rahul kuntala says

    Hello Ileane

By far the CommentLuv plugin is the best ever plugin which grabs the attention of readers, commentors and even newbie bloggers to come and make a comment if there is CommentLuv enabled.

Before reading this post, I really don’t know about “Optin skin”.. now I should make a try. 🙂

What are your views on WP Robot plugin (Which I am thinking to buy)?

BTW I really like your writing style.

    • Hi Rahul,

If you’re interested in OptinSkin, you can check out the info on the landing page, and if you use my affiliate link I would appreciate it because I get a commission but it doesn’t effect the price you pay

I never heard of WP robot plugin. What does it do?

      • Rahul kuntala says

        Thanks for the reply Ileane

If I’ve to buy “Optin Plugin”, I’ll do it through your affiliate link. 🙂

WP robot is an auto-blogging plugin which auto posts RSS feeds, tweets, clickbank ads, EA articles etc without lifting a finger!!

        • Oh, I’m not a fan of auto-blogging. Takes all the fun out of it for me. But it’s your choice. 🙂

  7. Kuldeep Khatri says

A great list Illeane Mam. I think these are some really great WordPress Plugins worth trying. 🙂

Since past, I had only SEO processor and Commentluv Premium and Got good experience while using them.

It’s WordPress Plugins which makes blogging really Interesting and Super Simple. 🙂

I think you did a Great job by listing them here. As I am having less knowledge about Plugins in WordPress , I used only two of them. Good to know that I have some knowledge about the rest of the Useful Premium Plugins.

Nice to see you on ITC.

A big thanks to you for sharing this Great source of information with all of us.

Hope to see more from your Side. 🙂

  8. Sheshnath says

Thanks Ileane, for sharing this great source of information here at ITC.
It really worth to use all these plugin. Hope to see a lot more from you here at ITC.

  9. Arsh Kapoor says

A post by an expert will spend some money for these plugins … even i have bookmarked this page for future use… !

    • Hi Arsh, thanks for the kind words. You can take your time if you can’t afford it right now. I think these plugins will be around for quite some time. Just make sure you are using the free version of CommentLuv at least for now, can install some plugin to back up your blog. It beats a blank – and as time goes by, you can add them when you get the funds.

  10. Shivkumar says

    Hello Ileane Smith,
This is reall a useful list of wordpress plugins from which I was using only 2. now it’s time for another.
    Thanks Mam

  11. Mohsin Ali Waheed says

Really awesome plugins collection. I am using Comment Luv and SEO Pressor but love to use other plugins too.

    • Hi Mohshin,
What’s your favorite features of SEOPressor? I mentioned the keyword density calculation but I also like that it adds bold to the keyword. Do you use that option?

  12. rohit kothari@techotalk says

yep i too use SEOpressor it really nice plugin to work with thanks Ileane for this wonderful list

  13. Expect first plugin that you have referred here none have been used by me. The experiences using comluv plugin was great but it came with lot of difficulties so i left that plugin and using simple WP comment section.

btw, Thanks for the letting me know about the rest of the plugins. Will surely try them out – if required.

    • Hi Irfan, did you ever talk to Andy Bailey through his support desk about issues you had with CommentLuv? What was difficulty you mentioned?

Hope you try some of these plugins and let me know what you think of them soon.

  14. A big thanks to you for sharing this Great source of information with all of us.
These wordpress plugins are helpful i think for all bloggers and most using plugins.!

  15. Nice list of plugins. Good to see you here Ileane. How are you?

  16. Top 5 Premium of WordPress Plugins are very useful madam but i m using blogger so my humble request write some tips about blogger also

      Best wishes Sailal.

  17. Elvis Shrestha says

Thanks for the tips. I am using disqus so can’t use commentluv but i am sure going to try SEOPressor.

    • Hi Elvis, my question to you is this -why are you using Disqus? What do you like about it the most?

You can take advantage of the other plugins when you get time check out some of my tutorials and I hope you decide to use them.

  18. yourprakhar says

comment luv premium is really a very useful plugin …. it really help in generating more traffic to your blog….

    • You got that right yourprakhar! Check with Abhi – when he did a guest post on my blog, he received over 100 comments and right now the total comments on the post are 232!!
      Thanks for your comment.

  19. Andy Bailey says

hey thanks for listing CommentLuv premium , I know you use it really well Ileane!

thanks for being an ambassador of the luv 🙂

    • Hi Andy, it’s always my pleasure to brag about CommentLuv premium and the benefits it brings. It’s a brilliant piece of work and I’m so glad you developed it.

Thanks so much for coming by and leaving a comment.

      Cheers!

  20. Jaikee Jaiswal says

I would not invest on Seopressor, there are free alternative to that. Rest all are pretty good. I would have loved to see that Alternative as well for these paid plugins.

    • Jaikee, I am not a big spender so trust me, if I recommend a premium plugin there is no free one that can do the same job. I’ve tried tons of them and I’ve talked to hundreds of bloggers about this topic.

I don’t mention products that I don’t endorse, especially plugins. No point in giving a shout out to something if I wouldn’t recommend it right?

Stop over to my blog you’ll see I have 3 excellent posts that recommend some free plugins you might want to try. One of these posts was written by none other than my adorable daughter Nikki Purvy!

I’ll leave the link in CommentLuv. Let me know if you want links to the other posts about freebie plugins. I got you 🙂

  21. siddhesh says

which is better yoast or seopressor?
and i dont find backup buddy good in the list we can backup wordpress manually and use plugins like backwpup(its free) for a daily database backup..

    • Siddhesh, excellent question!

The Yoast SEO plugin for WordPress does a great job of helping you with SEO for your posts. If I wasn’t already using SEOPressor, I would test out the Yoast plugin.

I’m not really big on SEO so having 2 plugins plus using Thesis Theme is just way too much SEO for me 🙂

As I mentioned in this post, SEOPressor serves a dual purpose for me which is to help me manage the content of the guest authors on my blog and count the keyword density and internal links. I don’t think Yoast will help in the same way.

About the blog backups, please visit my blog and read the page about BackUp Buddy.

You see the problem with free backup plugins is that they give you absolutely no way to RESTORE your blog if you ever need to. BackupBuddy does the job for you and they have a support forum and tutorials to guide you through the entire process.

      Here’s the page

  22. Ryan Biddulph says

    All winning plug-ins Ileane!

I am a little light in the PI area; might be time to add to my collection.

    Thanks for sharing!

    Ryan

    • Hey Ryan, so cool of you to stop by and comment. Thanks for sharing the post too. You rock Ryan!
      Chat soon.

  23. Abhi Balani says

    Hello Ms Ileane,

I’m not on WordPress, you know it already. But still I had to stop by your post. 🙂 I can’t miss any.

I’m using commluv (not premium) but still it’s quite worthy. And about SEOPressor, I met it second time on your blog. You know what, I use some SEOPressor tricks in my blogger blog posts. 🙂 Don’t know if it work that much or not. But I’m sure it will effect my SEO. 🙂 Will be sharing about it on my blog soon.

    • Hi Abhi,

Thanks for your support Abhi. I hope to see you migrating to WordPress so you can start sharing your post about premium plugins too. 🙂

  24. bbrian017 says

Hi Ileane, thanks for the great suggestions. As you know we have discussed this many times I’m a huge fan of free, so I use the all in one SEO pack but you know, perhaps it’s time I start re evaluating the SEO of my own site and consider using some of these premium SEO packs. Is it possible that a blogger can out grow a free SEO plugin?

    • Hi Brian, SEOPressor would be a great fit for the Blog Engage blog. One of the biggest problems I see guest bloggers making and not creating internal links back to other article in my blog. This solves the problem for me, as I can easily see if it’s been done when I review the article. Give it a try Brian and let me known what you think.

      • bbrian017 says

Okay Ileane I’m going to buy it you convinced me and when I do I’ll make sure to visit basic blog tips and use your code. Your right this is something I need to do! ASAP!

  25. Rohit @ iPod Touch 4G says

Ileane, the plugins you mentioned are really useful one’s I also add one more Pop-Up Domination plugin used by many internet marketers. Whereas I have been also hearing many people recommending wp easy seo over seopressor. As i am also using seopressor i didn’t find any really useful feature in it. Last week i used Yoast SEO i would recommend that instead of SEOPressor (as it is free) & in paid option i think WP easy SEO would be better.

though these are my personal suggestions only, I would recommend people to research well before buying any plugin as it should server the requirements.

    • Hi Rohit, One of the most annoying plugins on the planet is Popup Domination. I hear from other bloggers that it is very effective in getting people to sign up for their lists, but it annoys me so much that I would never install it on my blog. You’re in good company though because many people love it – I’m just not one of them.

I’m glad you like Yoast, I’m always getting good feedback about that one and no one ever complains about how annoying it is LOL!!

      Thanks Rohit for your feedback.

      • Rohit @ iPod Touch 4G says

I also don’t find pop up domination good for normal usage that’s why i mentioned it is used widely by Internet marketers only!

        • Maybe that’s my problem. I need to stop reading so many internet marketing blogs LOL!!

          • Rohit @ iPod Touch 4G says

Lolz.. Even I have stopped reading many marketers blogs. They would be missing us as a visitor 😀

  26. James Pruitt says

Thanks for this list Ileane. I have used Pretty LInks light (free version) but never the PRo version. Great reviews of some really cool plugins to check out.

    • Hi James, thanks for mentioning Pretty Link Lite.

Everyone who has Pretty Link Pro, must install the free version first which is Pretty Link Lite. I tried it for a day or two but I wanted to get my hands on those extra features so I upgraded to the Pro.

The lite version is an excellent starting point and thanks again for bringing that up.

      Chat soon my friend. 🙂

  27. Christina Sanchez says

Hi I want to know how much are all these plugins? I have a new blog That I started cause I grew to love Seo . I know I am new to it but I feel like I am learning fairly well. I know about the on page and other seo work that comes with a website and blog. This blog is like my test blog for this kind of ninche cause I know it is very competitive. My other websites that I call my money sites are doing well . If you have any advice love to hear it. Thanks

    • Christina,

I didn’t include prices originally for two reasons:
#1. The prices are always changing and most of the developers offers deals and coupons from time to time
#2. I was too lazy to look them up!!
But since you asked here goes – these are the prices as of today 3/5/3012
CLP – $67/$87/$97 (single site, multi, unlimited)
BackUpBuddy – $75/$100/$150 (two sites, ten sites, unlimited)
      SEOPressor – $47/$97 (single, unlimited)
      PLP – $37/$97 (single, multi)
      OptinSkin – $47

See what I mean – that was a ton of work LOL! Hope you end up getting one of these plugins after all of that.

  28. Justin Germino says

I was using Popup Domination, haven’t used ViperChill’s subscribe plugin yet but will probably check it out at some point. I also consider Formidable Pro and WP Touch Pro to be excellent premium plugins worth paying for and necessary, the features you get from free forms plugins like Contact Form 7 or CForms II can’t compare, and the mobile theme / iPad theme of WP Touch Pro comes in handy.

    • Hi Justin!

I purchased Gravity forms but I haven’t really put it to good use yet. Honestly I haven’t even decided what forms I’m going to create with it. I’m curious if you tried that one before getting Formidable pro – how did they compare? Let me know if you ever did a comparison post on the topic.

Thanks for coming by and leaving a comment. Nice to see you here!

      • Justin Germino says

Honestly I did not, Formidable Pro was 1/2 the price of Gravity Forms for an unlimited site license and had all the same capabilities I wanted. This was what drove me to Formidable Pro, many readers of my site say Gravity Forms is better or can do more, but again I found nothing that I needed that I couldn’t do in Formidable Pro and paid 1/2 the price of Gravity Forms for it.

Formidable Pro support has been excellent for me, and they have 8 add-ons for enhancing functionality that they offer for free. (Mailchimp integration, Paypal integration…etc).

If you already have Gravity Forms it probably will do just fine, probably has even more features, but if you haven’t paid money for a forms plugin yet and you need one you can save good money with Formidable Pro.

Note: Both Forms plugins require you to know how to build form fields, these aren’t for beginners like Contact Form 7 is.

        • Thanks for the details Justin. I’m going to take a look at your contact page so I can see the form in action.

          • Justin Germino says

Better reference would be to look at this sponsor form which sends user to paypal with dollar amount pre-filled (you don’t have to pay!)

Or look at this super complex form I created for a customer a few weeks ago:
            (don’t fill this out though)

  29. Ammar Ali says

    Hi,
I am using SEOpressor but i don’t think it works for me because it is difficult for me and guest authors to complete score 80%+. Which one you would recommend other best SEO plugin?

    • Ammar,

I think a score of 80 is good. I don’t stress over getting any score higher than that. The way I use SEOPressor is not to make it an exact science, but use it for guidance instead. I have some posts that get lots of organic traffic even though the scores are only in the 70’s.
Keep up the good work Ammar and don’t be discouraged by those scores.

Btw – make sure you check out my post and video on using SEOPressor. I left the link in CommentLuv.
      Thanks.

  30. Yea..these plugins boost WordPress sites performance. But I have not enough money to buy these. But I’ll try to buy some premium plugins later from your collection

    • Hi Ahsan, take your time and buy them when you have time. The first one you should try is CommentLuv and then work your way down the list.

  31. Illeane yes all plugin mentioned here are worth buying.I must say that i’m going to buy some plugins for my site this month.BTW thanks for sharing nice list. 🙂

    _Ankit

    • Hi Ankit, when you’re ready to get one of these plugins, be sure to contact me if you want to use my affiliate link. I’ll make sure we are connected on Facebook or another social network too. Thanks.

  32. Saikrishna says

Nice post. Really helpful I was just looking to buy some plugins like this.

  33. Rizwan Sultan says

These all are highly effective and impressive plugin specially I use CommentLuv on all of my Blogs.

    • Hi Rizwan, CommentLuv is the bomb! I’m glad you’re using it so much too. Thanks for coming by and leaving a comment.

  34. Hi Ileane, Kevin Stacey here

First off, this post is extremely thorough! I don’t see too many bloggers going into detail with some of the newer more obscure plugins like you have…that’s the mark of a blogger who knows her WordPress plugins. For optimization, I feel that every blog is different and nothing works best for everyone.

I always suggest looking at a side-by-side comparison of the best seo plugins for WordPress in order to make an informed decision of what the best plugin is for that blogger and their website’s specific needs.

Here’s my most recent write-up on the subject:

SEO Pressor vs Easy WP SEO vs Scribe SEO
    www . bestseopluginforwordpress.com/wordpress-seo/the-best-seo-plugin-for-wordpress/

Check it out and let me know what you think.

Great article btw…I’ll be referencing this post on my main blog.

    • Hi Kevin, I’m glad you found the post helpful and I’ll visit your post soon. I have a question – is there any reason why you didn’t link to the post in CommentLuv instead of using the comment box to leave the link? Just a word of advice from someone who has over 17,500 comments on her blog – it’s more appropriate to leave a link in CommentLuv than it is to place it in the comment box.
Please let me know if you need more help with understanding how to use CommentLuv or best practice for leaving blog comments – I’m more than happy to assist.
      Thank you!

  35. srsheldon says

    Hi Ileane,

Thanks for the great list. I’ve heard wonderful things about all of these, but hadn’t heard of the last one. I’ll have to take a look, since squeeze pages is one area I struggle with.

I have the Commentluv premium, and I wish more people did. It really encourages readers to jump in and add their 2 cents (like here!)

For the others (aside from the wpskin), I use free options which are all terrific. The WordPress for SEO by Yoast is like a premium plugin and also replaced several others I had. It’s so much safer to user fewer plugins. I also use BackWPup, which has all the scheduling and backup features of the premiums. I save mine to Amazon s3. For affiliate links, I use the Redirection plugin, which is nice and straightforward. It probably doesn’t have all the bells and whistles of Pretty Link Pro, but I’d be afraid to switch now. You know how it is. Don’t mess with something that’s working!

    Best,

    Sharyn

  36. Hi Sharyn, thanks for coming by! I’m glad you are a CommentLuv fan too. I haven’t used BackWPup, but do you know if they have instructions for restoring your blog if necessary. Also, double check to see if the plugin backs up your database in addition to your images, plugins etc. Most likely it only backs up the database with no support for restoring your blog if necessary, so just be careful with that one. 🙂

Thanks for the comment Sharyn, chat soon.

    • Sharyn Sheldon says

I’ll have to look at my backup more closely. I know it gives the option of backing up different things, one of which is to back up everything. But I’ll definitely give it a closer look. I had one of my niche sites hacked a few months ago and the traffic never came back, so I’m very plugin-shy these days. Regina Smola, over at WPSecurityLock cleaned up my site and gave me a lecture about using fewer plugins and only ones that are updated regularly. In fact, she said it’s good to use more than one backup, so I’ll look at Backup Buddy too.

Love you blog, by the way. I’m so glad I came across it somewhere. Don’t remember where!

      – Sharyn

      • Sharyn, if you find that you need to invest in BackupBuddy, let me know and I will give you a discount code that is good until the end of the month!
You can also read a review that was done by Corbett Barr from Think Traffic – I found out about his plugin review right after I wrote this post – here’s the link.

  37. This is a reply to Ammar Ali above.
No I don’t want you to remove the plugin if it’s working good for you. I know that Popup plugin works great for a lot of people and each person must do what is in their own best interest. All I’m saying is that I find Popups very annoying so I don’t visit blogs that use Popups. I can’t imagine doing a guest post on a blog that I don’t visit. I hope that make sense to you. It’s my own personal preference. That is the beauty of blogging on the internet – we all have freedom of choice (in most countries anyway).

  38. Nice list here! I cannot go out without SEOpressor and Backup Buddy on my WordPress blogs. Backup Buddy makes it so easy to move to a new web host.

    • Hi Keith! Thanks for backing me up on that 🙂 Next you should try the Optin Skin from ViperChill it’s really sweet.

  39. NiceBlogger says

I’ve didn’t knew about “SEOPressor”. I think that I will try it and I will write a review of it ..Good job here !

  40. Hi Ileane, have you used Simple URL’s? If so, how does Pretty Link Pro stack up against Simple URL’s? I’m just wondering if it’s worth paying $37 when all I need is some relatively simple link cloaking.

    Thanks.

    • Hi James, I haven’t heard of Simple URL, but Pretty Link Lite is the free version of PLP, so you can try that one also.

  41. Rob Lipscombe says

    Hi Ileane,

Just read this…great post. To be honest I wasn’t even aware of SEOPressor.

Will definately check out Glen’s Optin Skin.

    Thanks.

    • Hi Rob, I think you find out about this post from my newsletter. Nice! Thanks for stopping by and showing your support. Let me know if you have questions on any of the plugins.

  42. Bhavesh Sondagar says

    Hi Ileane,
    Finally I meet you again!!
I am currently using commentluv plugin on my site and thinking to buy a premium one for my website.

    Hi Ileane,

Opt In Skin has really caught my eye here, I’m an avid Viper Chill reader and I’m on Glen’s mailing list .. always impressed with the information he gives out , so I’ve got a lot of respect for him … it speaks volumes about how good this plugin is going to be, i’ll have to check it out, cheers!

    • Hi Adam, I am having great success with the sidebar sign up form and I highly recommend OptinSkin. Keep me posted with your thoughts about it.

  44. You have a great list here. 🙂

  45. Ashwani Ahlawat says

I like the SEOPressor reviews but don’t have enough budget to buy it. Coz it is not free so i can’t afford this plugin. But i’ll use another for best results.

    • Hi Ashwani, you should think about making an investment in you blog if you want to take it to the next level. My friend Abhi from OddBlogger started off with little money for his blog. He entered some blogging contests and really worked hard to promote his posts and deliver good value to the blogosphere. Next thing you know he started winning contests and had enough money to update his blog and turn it into a success. Keep working at it and you can do it too!

      • Ashwani Ahlawat says

Thanks Ileane for the Inspiration. Surely i’ll work hard for myself and my blog to reach my Aim. 🙂

  46. Shalu Sharma says

Can I say that I use none of them. I am seriously thinking of investing in all of them specially the commentluv and seopressure. There is so much buzz around these 2 plugins. Perhaps I am missing on out something.

    • Hi Shaula, you will love both of these plugins! CommentLuv Premium is the best ever – you should really invest in that one. 🙂

      • Shalu Sharma says

Hi Ileane, thanks for your reply. Just wondering if they run discounts on Commentluv premium.

        • Shalu, I just wanted to let you know that Andy just updated CommentLuv Premium with a lot of cool features and he will be going up on the price soon (he didn’t say when). I hope you get it before the price goes up.

  47. sai krishna says

    Well explained Ileane,
I have comment luv premium already, Planning to buy SEO pressor soon. Do you think is its must have for a blog ?
I’m asking it because due to google panda, SEO lost its importance, content is king. So do you think still its must have for a blog ?

    • Hi Sai,
I’m glad you are using CommentLuv Premium! I don’t know what I would do without it. SEOPressor is still an important plugin for me because I continue to see my keyword rankings increase and more people coming to my blog as a result.

Thanks for your question and for checking out the interview Sai.

  48. Ravi Shankar says

    Hey Ileane,
I am a pretty big fan of your articles, i have seen you posting frequently at the comment luv blog. Well about the premium plugins, so far i have tried SEOpressor and the comment luv premium and i simply love them, they really are worth the amount of money spent on them.

  49. Sai Kumar says

Hi Mam, Really shared a great list. I am using SEOPressor and i am thinking to buy CommentLuv Premium Plugin. Thanks for sharing the great list 🙂

    • Sai, Nice of you to stop by after seeing this post on Facebook earlier today.

CommentLuv premium will be an excellent investment for you. It has the built in spam protection that I’m sure you will love to have on your blog as well.

  50. hi I want to know if there is any plugin that can show the status of my visitors in wordpress itself instead of Google analytics?

    • Sudhir, I am not sure what you mean when you say “status of my visitors” but I think you can check out Clicky. I don’t use it myself, but I hear it’s pretty accurate.

  51. I love this list! I only use free plugins but I’m actually quite keen to get serious about blogging and invest a little bit of money into getting some help via plugins. CommentLuv is one I’m particularly interested in because it seems to be win-win; commenters win and I get more traffic because they’ll keep coming back t comment. Is that your experience?

    • Hi Simon, I’m glad to see that you are willing to invest in your blog. It takes time to build a blog the right way and starting off with CommentLuv is a big step in the right direction. Thanks for your feedback.

  52. Karri Avinash says

@Ileane: Hope you remember me. Well the list should be more big. Instead of SEOPressor, I’d recommend Easy WP SEO. Also Covert Copy Traffic is useful if you want to stop plagiarism of your content. Also not the least, SCRIBE SEO ($99/month) is useful for on-page SEO and link building in v4.0.

    • Hi Karri,

It sounds like you need to start a list of your own and write a post about it. You have lots of knowledge on this topic.
I didn’t realize Scribe SEO was so expensive. I don’t use a monthly service to do link building for me and I also don’t recommend it.
I haven’t tried the ones you suggested but I’m glad you find them useful.

  53. Whoa ! Post by a Webmaster. I already own SEO Pressor and CommentLuv Premium, will try using the rest you suggested. Anyway, Thanks for the Awesome Post 🙂

    • Hi Anirudh, You’re welcome. I hope you are getting more traffic and having lots of comments with those two plugins you mentioned.

      • Got some raise in my traffic, but not sure is it because of this. And started using Backup Plugin but not the specified one. Using a Free Plugin. Thanks for the previous Response 🙂

  54. Techiestuffs says

Nice writeup lleane but I think you are extensively promoting your own products on other blogs…for example SEO processor and comment luv.

Apart from that I too strongly feel that Backup buddy and Optin skins are 100% worth adding to the list but that is lying on bottom of the list.

    • Techiestuffs, I don’t have my own products but if I did I’m sure that they would be good enough that you might even want to write about them and promote them on other blogs too 🙂

Yes they are all products that I am an affiliate for and I use them and I recommend them.

But there is one exception – I am no longer using Optin Skin. I started using Hybrid-Connect because I like it much better. After I gather some stats, I will do a post to say why I switched. Is that ok with you?

  55. Jatin Singhroha says

Shit ! Currently i am not using any of these premium plugins, will look forward to use CommentLuv premium and optin skin.

    • Jatin, I’m going to wash your mouth out with soap!!! That’s what our mothers used to say back in the day when we used curse words.

Don’t get so upset, there is plenty of time to get any of these plugin. BUT!! if you plan to get CommentLuv do it asap because the pricing will change in a few days!

  56. Arsie Organo says

I think I still need to find ways to earn more to get one if not all of those mentioned premium plugins. 🙂

  57. nice post sir but what do they cost????

  58. Bhavesh Sondagar says

    Hi Ileane,
I have recently started using backup buddy and I just become a fan of it.
    Thanks for your recommendation.
